Trouble shooting washed out image when scaning to copy. Scan to file looks good. Print from same file looks good. Resat copy cable and connection to the inside printer board. No change. Resat I/F board to CPU board and recived at power up an "ERROR 3" on the scanner screen.
This error wont clear and allow me to do a sensor test in Diagnosis. Any clues on how to clear this error?
Thanks GZ

Still having washed out copies when scanning to copy. Performed shading
but did not fix. All scan to file and plotting are looking good.

Copy density is set independently of print density. Depending on the machine, you either set the copy density at the touchscreen in the configuration menu or in the unattend.ini file.

A copy density set to light will do exactly what you describe, scan to file and print from file are great but direct copy is too light.

Some days I amaze myself with my ability to open mouth and insert foot.
You do not set the density for copy in the unattened.ini. It is either in the UI or set in the BUD at the scanner itself.

If you are getting consistently light copies making it darker should help.
