Not much to report, KIP will be releasing 7.0 software in June.
OCE showed off the Plotwave 300.
Nothing new with Xerox.
Ricoh will be releasing there 14 "D"s a minute machine, but no new software.
Canon has a couple nice new plotters.
Nothing new with HP.
See ya in Palm Springs next year. |

No new machines for KIP.
7.0 will allow you to print and scan to and from a USB or CD hooked directly to the IPS.
We will be able to Map a drive and print right from the touch panel.
They made Printnet much more like Request.
The also came up with a color cost calculator for the KC80. |

Tell me more about printing from the touch panel. I thought 6.5 was able to do that now. |

You can, but only through an SMB folder.
Now you can Map a drive, it no longer has to be tied to SMB. |
