Hi All ,

i have just recently aquired a Kip 2002 printer and 2050 scanner , problem being the manuals and the software were lost in transport across country , along with the interconnecting lead ( although i can soon make up a cable ) , so i am in a right pickle pot . trying to get this all to work etc , so any help is appriciated .

the firmware version in the scanner is 2.04-50
i have an adeptec scsi card aha2940-42 installed in a pc running windows xp sp3

although i find the kip 75 listed under scsi devices . i am unable to communicate , nor can i get it listed under scanners etc in the control panel , or get communication working .

do i need to have the scanner connected to the printer as well as the scsi

could someone confirm which software is needed as it seems to me missing a possible driver somewhere along the line .

i have try'd both
kipscan 5.5.21 & 6.2.3

i had thought of using the nt4 pc in the printer also is this feasable

any help appriciated
Dave
