This happens only sometimes...
You switch on the machine and the GUI starts as normal. However the main print engine does not power up. The LCD display is blank and COPY and SCAN is greyed out on the touch screen. All i have been doing to rectify this is powering down completely and rebooting and it starts without a problem.
This machine is an ex demo with very low mileage waiting to go out to a customer! Can anyone help?? |

Check and make sure the interlock for the fuser door is getting closed all the way.
Sounds like an interlock issue to me. |

| Thanks, I found that the fuser door was misformed causing the switch not to be made properly. |
