After 2 days, a good clean, and a fuser roller, the wrinkling came back on 36" paper. The fuser is pressurized, new bearings and isolation bushings. I did not turn on any user modes for heat (in an airconditioned room) and I did not replace the pressure roller, yet. Any ideas besides a pressure roller.

9TIMES OUT OF 10 IT THE LOWER FUSER ROLLER AKA PRESSURE ROLLER THAT WILL CAUSE THE PROBLEM IF EVERY THING IS CLEAN. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE SEEN.

MY GRANDSON HAD A BIRTHDAY THIS WEEKEND AND I GOT TO SEE THREE OF MY GRANDKIDS SATURDAY MAN IT MADE FOR A GREAT WEEKEND Very Happy

Check the nip width. You want to see an even nip across the page. Not sure how to do it ? It's in the manual.

Hi Kahuna: Thank you for your suggestion.
Unsure of how the nip width gets changed on a machine that has been running just fine.

The nip width changes due to the fact that the lower pressure roller is made of a sponge like rubber. (Look at the end) As it gets older the material is not as firm and is more spongy or softer. Basically the roller flattens a little more when pressed against the heat roller. Causing a bigger nip.

My kip6000 is wrinkling the corners of pages on 36" rolls. It seems to do it more in the afternoon, I am guessing it the machine is hotter in the pm. Sometimes it even jams the paper in the fuser section, making accordion paper. Any suggestions?
