Touchscreen shows "Error 11"
Customer says it has happened several times... It shows the section graphic of the machine with that error.

I consulted all 5000 tech info.. all manuals and bulletins.. I can't find any documentation on any of the errors that the touchscreen can display.
ideas?

I still have this happening at a customer. it happens after paper change. No matter whether they ask for a trim or not, and it doesn't always happen right away. The touch screen will show error 11.. after reloading paper. I spoke with someone a while back that mentioned it could be a timing issue of some kind. Anyone have any suggestions?

The customer has been very patient.. they are of course still using the machine, so it is not the biggest problem we have going, but I'd like to know what is happening.

The information that I have says that Error 11= timeout waiting for roll change. I think we saw this with a 5000 when we loaded paper. I wasn't handling the call, so I am not sure what the solution was. I believe that it is a timing thing when it checks the paper. It expects to get a reading of either the size of the roll, or the presence of paper in a certain amount of time. Yet, for some reason it will keep printing, and will recognize the roll. I am sorry that I don't have more informatin for you.
