|
|
We have what is now 2 seperate 3000's that have an issue that is supposedly only generated when copies are made (not sure if this means scan to file as well).
Now first off the problem is random, so random that we yet to experience it first hand. The problem is excessive background (almost like over tonning). The other thing is I am not certain if it is 1'zy 2'zy in a set or if when it happens it is on the whole set. Because to me it makes no sense when a digital scanner takes the image in it should print that said image the same on all copies/prints no matter how many. If not and the scanner had a fault when it scanned that image it would print all the copies in that set the same; right?
But this is the issue we are having with these customers is these question yet to be ansewred and without staying there all day and running it we need the customer to have theses details to better diagnose the problem.
So bottom line has anyone else seen or heard of this same problem? _________________ Terry Crawford

We have found very mixed results with copying (Our backgrounds are always too light though), we have gone to making a PDF of the scan, then using KIP Request to send those PDFs out, at least that way you get the same problems on all copies. |

I have seen it when using vellum, translucent bond and cheap bond originals when the white rollers are dirty. |
