A small round piece of the printed material (smaller than a dime) is missing from the edge of the page (as if somebody had erased just a small area). This tiny missing part is, instead, printed in the middle of the page.
I am clueless as to how this occurs -- it doesn't happen on every plot... but randomly.

You didn't specify which edge, but if it is the leading edge, I would bet that somehow the paper is lifting further away from the drum causing that particular spot to not transfer from drum to paper. Then, it would print the image on the next revolution of the drum. I would check paper path for any obstructions or anything missing, especially in the area where the deletion is occuring. Let me know what you find. |
