Hello KIPDOCTOR I'm from Jakarta Indonesia, we have a scanner KIP 2200 with error 214 occured. we've already replace 3 items, cpu board (PW 9821 -01), relay board (PW 9815 - 01), afeboard (PW 9820 - 01) but same error occured.
we've make sure for good harnes conectivity.
Would you guide me for this case ?

2200 is a strange bird indeed. That is everything I would have replaced also. Have you tried replacing the original glass. Could be as simple as that.

The DOC in probably on the right track.
Kip has a Tech TIP-K98-002 regarding error codes 200-227.
ISSUE: Error 200-227 - Glass becomes dirty.
SOLUTION: a) clean/replace glass or platen
b) clean the marker LED's and mirrors located under the lamps. Please see 4.3.8 (Replacing Lamps and Driver Boards) in service manual to access the Marker LED's and mirrors.
NOTE: Don't use compressed air when cleaning as it will only spead the dust araound. The best method includes a lint-free wipe and glass cleaner. (spray cleaner on cloth not into machine) |

thank for your reply,
we've changed the glass, we didn't change the camera and board ( cause we don't have it ).
in this case we can skip error with ( hold the start button and press 1 ).
we scan to file, the result is good.
would you guide us for this case
