Does anyone know a vendor or other site that will recycle the used toner cartridges for a KIP 3000? I have a customer that is feeling guilty tossing it in the trash. Thanks.... |

We recycle ours with the company that we buy our Generic toner from (it's about 1/2 the price, th quality comes out just as nice and the toners last yield about 30% more square feet), which is also the same company that we get our service from.
PM me if you would like all of the info. |

Post the info here so that all can benefit from it. I have no problem with a plug for a company or supplier if it is a viable option other than K Mart. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |

The company info is:
Ecco Systems
Office Number: (714) 533-7058
We have been using them for our service since we realized that the dealer that sold us our KIP didn't know anything about it or how to service it, and we have been getting all of our supplies through them as they have the best quality and the best price. |

Please, please, please send them to Eeco (as posted above), they don't have enough empty toner bottles to keep us supplied with the generic toner that costs literally about 1/4 of the name brand stuff. |

I know they will if you buy the toner from them (they are by far the cheapest source that I have found to date). |

Thanks for the info. I'm having enough problems with the ones I have in the field so I can not take the chance at this point of using generic toner. If they will not pay shipping then I will continue to instruct my customers to throw them in recycle bin. |

I had a customer that tried using this Ecco toner. It caused so much problems. Ecco actually ended up replacing thier developer unit because of it. It was completely trashed. This was an 8000. Not sure how the other toner works. Just be careful. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |

i do use generic toner in some regular copier models but on this wide format that has been giving me other quality issues why take a chance. i feel better with OEM toner in this case especially with it being mono componet. |

How strange, we haven't had any problems, but they are the ones that service our machines (a 3000 & an 8000) so if we do have any problems we will make sure they take care of us. |
