We have has 2 Kip's that are new with the same problem and so i thought i would post the solution here in case any one else was having the same problem. We see that there is a paper jam while the machine tries to load the paper and it does not. Gives you a jam code and every now and again you can open and close the paper drawer it will work. Solution was to open the process unit and remove both of the paper guide plates around the drive wheels. There is a spring loaded gear on the left side that meshes with the drive gear in the paper drawer. Ours were not meshing so we adjusted the bracket with a little love so that they lined up correctly and the spacing wheels were on top of each other. Fixed both of the machines.

I had the same problem. The drive gear for the paper drawer was not always lining up with the gear on the paper drawer and the machine would either think there was no paper or that there was a jam. I leveled up the machine which helped some and "gave it some love" until the gears lined up! No problem since.

I have also had this problem. Both times it was caused by our salesman slamming the drawer!!! Drove me nuts!!
