I have a customer with a Kip 3000 that when they print large sheets (in excess of 6 feet) it begins to wrinkle. Anyone have a thought on reasons/solutions?
Thanks in advance. |

Have you checked the fuser pressure? The 3000's are known for having too much pressure applied from the factory. |

I have a machine with the wrinkling problem, it seems to be happening between the paper roll drawer and the transfer area of the machine, I've adjusted fuser pressure, verified that the machine is level, checked the drawer latching mechanism, checked the cutter, the paper spindle isn't "walking" up the guideways, etc.....etc.........etc.........it's intermittent but it happens often enough that it's a major inconvenience for the customer. How can the paper be loaded "just slightly crooked", as mentioned in the previous reply? Any thoughts? |
