I have two machines that the paper sizes will revert back to 17" for no reason.
You can change it back to the appropriate size but after a bit bit it will change back to 17". Has anyone else seen this problem?

Yes I have seen that. My question is, are you seeing the paper change on the IPS or on the service panel? Verify that first and then try the following: Our solution is to go into service mode 8 Factory adjustment mode. Do a ram clear and this should fix the problem. Another solution is just resetting the IPS by unplugging the machine from the back and then replugging it back in. |

I actually did not check the service panel.
I have only seen it on the monitor. I'll try a ram clear and see what happens.

I had the same issue with a machine running 6.2. It would show 17" on both roll decks although both had 24" on them. The front service panel would also show 17". If you opened the roll deck and closed it again it would go back to 24" for awhile. I tried disabling the reset screen, did not fix, tried re-ghosting, did not fix, ghosted from CD, did not fix. Upgraded to 6.5 and resolved issue. _________________ Everytime something is made idiot proof... the world creates a better idiot! |

There is a new version of unattend that fixes this issue. Contact KIP support and they will get it to you. |
