I have a 3000 that is not network all the customer use is copy. They said yesterday that they had a customer that wanted three reg sets then one inverter set after they did this the next job that came up it again print out the job before they turn off the machine then latter turn it back on and it resend the job again they told me it did this several time yesterday but today it has work fine. Has anyone see or heard of this. |

Yes, I have heard of this... Chalk it up to your regular KIP software quirks.. Unless anyone else has a solution.. I tell customers to reboot their IPS and the problem goes away... It is very hard to troubleshoot because the issues occure so randomly... I am sure someone can explain what causes it, but my practical solution is to reboot... |

This is the exact reason I wrote "Powerprint Purge" Sometimes rebooting will not even clear the jobs. You could hook up a laptop and upload this little program into the IPS. It has saved me many many service calls. http://www.ebsprinters.com/ebstools.asp No matter how hard kip tries there will always be the possibility of a glitch in the Windows OS corrupting something.
