Some light pen weights on a Xerox 510 are printing lightly on the right hand (control panel) side. I tried adjusting the led height and it got a little better. I really cannot see anyother way to lower it any further. Any help would be appreciated. |

Hi: Do an emergency stop in the middle of a print by shutting the machine off. Look at the drum and see how much toner is on the drum. Lack of toner coverage on drum could be the image corona (scorotron) weak or grid dirty. The drum could be unseated from the frame also.
Plenty of toner could also mean the BTR is not pulling the toner off the drum and onto the paper or the corotron is dirty. Good luck |
