I'm looking for a lease company that will allow me to put service and toner into the lease payment. Is this possible?

I keep seeing these copier companies do this. The lease includes everything. They can only build so much into the lease payment. How do they handle overage fees? Does the lease company collect meter readings and bill accordingly. Or do you still have to bill the customer seperatly for overages.

My dream lease company would finance the machine and handle the monthly useage billing so the customer only gets one clean bill. Then the lease company would kick a check back to us for the Service and Supplies portion.

What do you guys do for this All Inclusive Leasing thing?

Hey neil.. We lease the machine through a lease company ourselves. Then we draw up a rental contract with the customer which includes all of the numbers.. $X per month plus overage. or however the particular deal is structured. Sometimes we offer the customer a buyout at the end of the term, sometimes we don't. Customer gets one clean bill and we retain ownership of the machine throughout the deal. We have never worked with our lease company to include P/T/S.

But if your customer has money issues then aren't you on the line for that lease? Isn't it risky to put all those leases in your own companies name?
