PMs are up to date, just did the 80k PM a little early (77k) to try and clear up the issue with no luck. We have ordered a charge assy as our next step.
Prior to the PM we noticed a light band on the drum, corresponding to the voids on the paper. This has also happened with the brand new drum we installed during the PM but now it's in 3 places instead of just 1 and now shows up on the paper as 3 voids.
Not sure if I'm explaining it correctly as I'm posting what the tech told me, but he seemed confused on 2 things:
Wouldnt a defect on the drum make a black streak instead of a void?
He also said something like the image is viewable through the strip but not showing up on the paper. Does this mean that part of drum is not touching the paper?
Like I said, forgive me here with the short explanation, I do the dispatch and research for our techs, don't actually work on these things myself. If we need more information please let me know. Thanks. |
