So I have a KIP 6000 in an industrial environment that I venture out for a service call on. Charge wire errors. I get there and then I find the printer in much worse shape than I could imagine. First off the cleaning pad assembly on the charge assy. was missing. Second the Drum had been damaged by said cleaning pad. Replaced all items and left. The next day i come back to see how things are and the printer is pooling toner onto the prints. I open it up and find the Dev. Unit locked up and the regulation roller gear broken. So I replace the Dev. Unit and then The IPS has no power. Found 2 Dead boards on the back of the printer(the signal and power supply PcBs). Replaced boards and then printer has transfer errors e- 51. Replace wires and clean end blocks. finally It works again....... for now _________________ Live Every Day Like Its Your Last.... |

They must have purchased the machine from one of those great brokers. I am sure the machine was described as low mileage , always maintained. Yeah right. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |
