i been working a a kip 3000 that leaving blank or light image on the trail edge d size prints.preformed the following:
1.adj. transfer timing.
2. adj. fuser pressure and fuser speed.
would be ok for awhile but would come back. now getting the trail edge blank or light print and right side of print missing image or light.
anyone know how to solve this issue?kip was no help issue.

I just ran into this same problem a couple of weeks ago. Anything printing over 40" would start leaving white spots and repeat images. First off, make sure you have the latest EPROM I believe it is K105X08A. I didn't, so I had to order it also. Then you will have to go in and adjust the 2nd and 3rd fuser speed for plain paper, modes 4-180 and 4-182 on page 8-80 of the service manual. You'll probably have to drop the numbers. You might also have to slow the Fuser Motor Speed # 4-316. You may also want to check out TB # TB-K105-008 and TB-K105-009. They reference 30" but also holds true to 34' & 36" also.
