Have a 3000 that you can run 24x36 prints on all day without a single problem, but on anything longer than 4 feet, it develops round void marks (@3-4 inches in diameter). In fact, the longer the sheet, the worse the void marks become. |

Check your fuser pressure and also maybe look at the fuser speed. The paper is being pulled and tugged out of it proper posture as it goes through the machine. You need to correct this and your voids will disappear. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |

I've been there before, adjust the 1st fuser motor speed #436 from 21 to 15. This should work fine up to 8ft or so. |

Have you taken the left cover off and looked throught the side while it is printing the long sheets? If you have the speed set correctly you should not see the paper buckle or pull to tight. The fuser tension has nothing to do with the void unless it is wrinkling. Make sure your sep and trans wires are clean.

KIP has a tech tip regarding this issue for 30 inch paper but the idea of it is the same for 36 inch paper. TIP-K105-009 let me know if you need it. |
