can anybody tell me how to get printer back online i have a screen that says printer not available. am looking to purchace machine but would like to see it work first. the seller has no clue about machine and can't help. |

First, may I suggest finding a different dealer? Believe me, it is a lot easier if you get it from the company that will service the machine. Secondly, have you tried completely shutting the printer off for about 10 minutes, then turning it back on? |

yes i have shut machine off and still get printer not available message. the seller is not a dealer so he is of no use. i am new to all of this and have been able to fix some of the other error messages that machine had with the info that i found on this site. what i would like to know if maybe this is a software problem and if so can i purchase a recovery disc. any info would be great! the dealers that i have contacted seem to be more interested in selling or leasing me a new machine |

FYI. There most likely is a recovery "ghost" cd taped to the bottom side of the controller. Remove the back side panel. |

Are there any messages on the printers LCD screen?
It's under a small snap off cover, right side, above the paper drawer.
