I have a vibrations coming out of a kip 3000 with about 29,000 sq on it this only happen when it in slow mode. I have turn the pressure screws about 1 ½ turns and decrease the noise. This machine has had the Allen head for the drive gear on the frame break and I replace it with a screw but I have had this happen several other machine with no problem this screw replace happen about 6 month ago and the noise problem just started has anyone else had this problem.

KIP has a TB about the fuser vibrations in the 3000. You are going in the right direction by losening the fuser pressure. Try another turn or so. I have also had to replace the fuser bushings they wear out fast when the fuser is too tight. I also found that any sort of oil or grease on the fuser bushings makes the problem worse. The bushings wear and leave shavings that then mix with the oil or grease making it worse. Let me know if you need the TB and I will e-mail it too you. Good luck |
