| CUSTOMER HAS HAD A PAPER JAM RECENTLY AND THEY JERKED THE JAM OUT. IN THE PROCESS SOME HOW THEY MANAGED TO RIP THE CHARGE GRID OFF OF THE CHARGE UNIT. REPLACE CHARGE GRID, TENSION BLOCK AND NEW CORONA WIRE. NO DAMAGE TO THE DRUM BUT NOW ALL THE GRAY SCALES ARE VERY VERY LIGHT. CUSTOMER HAS THE SETTINGS AT THE DARKEST, AND THE GRAY SCALE IS VERY FAINT. AT THIS POINT I HAVE CHEKED ALMOST EVRYTHING I CAN THINK OF. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. |

| PROBLEM WAS FROM CHARGE GRID GROUNDING OUT AND CAUSING A BAD CONNECTIONS TO GROUND STRAP ON RT. SIDE OF DRUM. DID NOTICE SOME SIGNS OF ARCING. CLEANED AREA VERY WELL AND REGREASED CONTACTS. PRINTS ARE GREAT NOW. |
