KIP3000 with 6.5, 1.3 Firmware and color chip in scanner. Connected to HP1050 or 1055 or 4500 using TCP/IP as usual. When copying a line drawing, the copy is dark. The green lines are almost black. I've experimented with the quality modes on th KIP3000 (Draft, Normal and Quality) and while the Quality mode is better, it's still too dark. Also, the Quality mode is very dark. The settings on the HP seem to be overwitten by the KIP3000 settings.
Anyone got any ideas how to make the colour copy lighter?
Thanks in advance. |

I'm not sure about this but I think there is a color copy density control in either the Configuration menu or Service menu. |

I have seen the same problem with our 3000s. I don't have an answer, but it looks like we are all in the same boat. |
