I have a customer with a new Kip 3000 and has only 58 ft on it. I have had to see them twice becouse the display becomes unresponsive. The custome power cycles the unit then gets no display. When I get there the printer is running but the controller is not. I can turn the contorller on manually and all is happy, till you power cycle again. I hard power cycled the unit (disconected form ac and powered form cold) and the controler powered on. Now the controler will power cycle with the switch. Untill the unit is unpluged, then the controler will not respond till manually turned on.
I have not reimaged the controller as of yet and although the unit has 58 ft on it they have had it for more then 3 months so warranty is out.
Thanks

Sounds like something with the UPS in the printer that powers the IPS. |

Anyone else had this problem? I came across it and thought it was just the screen saver being set incorrectly. Unfortunately the controller seems to shut down after approx an hour if it's not used. This only seems to have occured since I updated to 6.5. Any ideas? |
