We have a 3000 with approx. 92000 sq.ft. It has printing been fine until recently, now if there is any shaded area in the center of the print it will be lighter than the same shading on either the right or left sides. ( Any lines that fall within the shading, either fine or heavy, come out fine)We have replaced the corona wires, supply roller, start up toner, and drum. We also adjusted the transfer wire height slightly, and the developer roller looks evenly covered with toner. Also have cleaned and regreased all dev. & drum contacts and adjusted strobe time for center LEDs. Thanks for any more ideas.

If you have another 3000 around, try switching out the developer units.

Thanks for your reply. Looks like we have it figured out-we thoroughly scrubbed off the print head w/glass cleaner & alcohol. We also found the positioning bracket on the left side of the print head/ 1st charger was out of position. (not sure how this happened, but...)
