|
|
Swapped out the main board on a 7170 because of some weird issues and when I input in service mode that it was new main board the key code never entered. And of course the envelope with key code was missing from side of copier.
The dealer I work with for Kip tried to to get me the code but because they didn't sell machine there would be a $1195 fee. Even the DSM couldn't do anything because it was sold by third party.
The email reply from Kip had something about 2 options:
1) pay $1195.
2) Retrieve key code from theunattend.ini files
Is it possible to avoid paying that ridiculous amount of money and retrieve the code from ini files? Or any other way I can get code?
Thanks for any help |

If you swap main board (motherboard) on embedded PC, you Must get new Keycodes from KIP.
However if you have the old MB Mac address AND The old Keycodes you can use it on the new Motherboard.
Pm me for details |
