anyone with the EE error code problem on 940 offline folder......here was a remark that the unit has a battery on it and whennot used for long periods of time that crashes resulting in the EE code..........
does anyone also have the paper sensor on platen as a spare part |

Battery on board this folder as a varta rechargeable that just needed to be charged overnight.....following morning ...it was in ready mode:
but now it doesnt pull in the paper...my guess its the sensor on the platen bar that doesnt trigger the motor drive ......any clue on this ....u guys!! |

Any chance that the dead battery allowed the firmware to change? Just taking a WAG, I am not trained on the folder.

THANKS MARK.......I DOUBT IT .....BUT WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO CONFIRM THIS WITH A CHANGE OF THE SENSOR ON PLATEN ......AS THERE ARE ONLY TO WIRES TO THIS ...A COMPATIBLE SENSOR WOULD EITHET BE A
1.THERMAL SENSOR
2 THERMAL PROXIMITY SENSOR
IT WOULD TAKE OFF THE GUESSING GAME WITH AN ORIGINAL PART REPLACEMENT.... WHICH I DONT HAVE A PART NO......ANY HELP? |
