Has anyone noticed the vibration? I have 3 - 7170K that'll vibrate like crazy when warming up but once it goes to idle or during printing, there is no vibration. I've replaced the plastic 30T fuser drive gear and played with the pressure of the fuser/pressure roller and it does nothing. |

I've had the screws that mount the plastic cover to the door frame loosen up causing a rattle. I have also been told, by KIP support, that there is no fix for this other than moving the power switch to OFF. _________________ Regards,

I've had the same issue with the cover coming loose on the 3/3100s. The 7170s seem to vibrate the same but no loose parts. If KIP support says that there is no fix, then I don't know what it could be but then again I know we've fixed a few of KIP's unfixable issues in the past. I'll keep you updated, if I find a cure. Thanks. |

I probably shouldn't respond to posts this early in the morning. I was of course referring to 3k's. I have a few 7170's that rattle during warm-up then become a little quieter during the day. The power switch suggestion also applies to 7170's.......... _________________ Regards,
