Today I made a copy of a drawing and saved it, then did some editing to the text. I normally print this in 17 x 22 but the Kip spit it out 17 x 17 with one end of the drawing missing. I've checked about every setting I can think of. Tried saving it to a PDF and it still came out 17 x 17. Tried printing extents and windowed both to no avail. Emailed it to another office, but it still printed as 17 x 17. Tried printing as 11 x 17, it came out that size but cut off on one end. Tried 24 x 36 and it came out fine. Then went back to my computer and opened a different frequently used drawing and tried to print that as 17 x 22 , but now it comes out 17 x 17 also. Opened yet another and it came out 17 x 17 also. BTW the print preview always looks normal. Please tell me what to check.

Undo the editing that you initially did to the PDF to see if it solves it or scan in another sheet, print it and confirm that it comes out 11x17. Then edit it the way you did to this troublesome one and see if it starts printing 17x17. If so, start doing one edit at a time to see what changes the size... OR stop editing it...lol.

Other things to check:

Is the printer set to print on 22" paper and you sent it to print landscape (17X22)? Does it really have 22" paper in it? I've seen people print 17x22 landscape and ask why it's printing 17x17 cut off. I see that the paper size is set to 22" but when I open the paper drawer, I see a 17" roll in there.

Confirm Scaling and Paper Scaling in Printing Preferences.

EDIT: I just reread your post and it seems I'm a little bit off base because you said you sent it to another office and it did the same thing (I'm guessing it would be from another printer). This woud eliminate your driver settings.

BUT, you said you printed a known "good" 17x22 and it came out 17x17, so this would lead me to think it's a driver issue.

Very odd....indeed.
