|
|
When printing with mylar, the first drawing is always followed with a blank sheet that is about 12" long. If customer sends one drawing, it'll print fine, then follows it up with the blank 12" long sheet. If they send a multi-page pdf, the blank sheet will always come out after the first drwing but all others print right after with no issues. Again, this ONLY happens when using mylar.
I could not find anything but I do believe it's a software issue, not hardware. Also, I saw that they were on 7.4.642 and updated them to the latest 7.4.817. I don't know if this'll solve their issue but didn't need them wasting their mylar, so they said they'd let me know the next time they print mylars. |

Maybe one of the sensors is being fooled by the mylar? _________________ Regards,

I thought so too but it seems too consistent with the first sheet out that I'm leaning towards a software issue. But actually right now, I'm willing to look at all suggestions. |

Try running the print on regular 20# bond set to film/Mylar. That would eliminate or confirm my first guess. _________________ Regards,
