Does anyone know why a KIP 2300 Scanner is scanning more then what is there. On auto width it may detect that it is 24 on a 24 inch wide print, but the next one may come out maybe 30 or larger. With a lot of extra white border on 1 side or the other or on both. |

Looking throught the service manual really quick. Do you have it set to "Standard Size Mode" or "Free Size Detection Mode"? Check page 3-7 of the SM. I don't know if this is your case but might lead you in the right direction. |
