Well, this one is strange, I have a newer install 7170 that has been having intermittent transfer failure but only on 30 inch paper. 36 runs fine no failures. It has set the the transfer charger abnormal code a few times. Most of the time first half the print is fine but rear half is washed. Anyone else see anything similar????

Have you checked the fuser speed for 30 inch. There is a tech bulletin on this. Seen it on the 3000's and 1 of my 7100's. Could be a false code causing it. Worth a try
