New install 7170K. 2.0 software

During install I set up an SMB mailbox for their scans to go to. My problem is:
When you select Color Scans, my SMB is the default option. Which is what I need.

When you select B/W Scans, it is not the default selection, and I need it to be.

I haven't been able to find any instructions for changing defaults in the GUI.

Also I'd like to set Multipage PDF's as default.

Anyone know how to change these defaults? or can point me in the right direction?

You have to create a template for the B&W and make that the default for the B&W scans

I haven't seen 2.0 and don't know if it's that different but Mark has it right. You'll have to go int B&W (or any of the copy/scan screen), make your changes and then select Templates and save/name it. Then you'll have to log in as Service, go to Settings and look for the JOB DEFAULTS box. Click on it and it'll have the copy/scan options there. Since you mentioned B&W copy, you would select that and at the bottom you will see all of the templates available. Just select the one you created and click on the back arrow. This should save it to the template you selected.
