Moved a customers 7100 into a wireless environment. I used a wireless usb dongle, and was able to get it set up, by making a wireless connection in Network connections area of the control panel on the IPS. Machine prints fine, from Request and the Windows print driver. However the SMB set up looks only to the local area wired connection of the IPS to connect to the receiving file folder in the network.
Called Kip support to find out where the switch is to send that info out to the new wireless connection, and was told that type of connection is not supported. So my question is, has anyone been able to set up scan to file using a wireless connection set up on the IPS?

Thanks
Arlen

You might try this device

https://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-Universal-Ethernet-Adapter-GWU627/dp/B004UAKCS6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1502397444&sr=8-2&keywords=iogear+wireless+network+adapter

It is wireless but it plugs into the Ethernet jack of the KIp

We also use different kind of wireless bridge since some Kip 3000's. Those one are plugged in the network connection of the Kip and had never SMB problems.
