3100 has 6.5 with the PDF feature. I loaded the 6.5 WPD on three workstations, all worked fine for 6 months, then all computers lost print capabilities, Adobe would lock up when the Kip 3100 was selected. No issues printing from Adobe to other printers on the network
Deleted the driver and reinstalled on all workstations and print capabilities were restored. A week later same issue, Adobe locking up again when the Kip 3100 is selected.

A 3100 running 6.5? Maybe this would be a good time to update the OS to 7.2

| I agree with Mark. if they are on Windows 7 they need to be off of 6.5 and on 7.2 |

| I have the 7.2 WPD and Request, but nothing to update the printer controller. Can anyone help me out here? |

The WPD and the printer OS are different. You'll need to contact a local dealer and ask them to order the 7.2 update and request the key codes from KIP. If your workstations are running Win 10 you may still have issues but I have printers functioning with Win 10.
