What is the difference between a Kip 7100 and the Konica version?

I have several placements that I service for Konica . None are the 7100 though.
The only thing I've found is that the firmware may be different based on the machine and if the toner came from Konica or Kip.

I've got an 860 from konica and I put kip firmware on it and it wouldn't see the K toner bottle. Had to have the konica firmware put on it.

I have a 7770K that Konica has me service and I've found no difference.

Don't know if that helps. I'm thinking you'll find no difference, other than the firmware that recognizes the rfid chip based on who they buy toner from.
