customer is upset that the machine says 75% full on certain colors and there is barley any toner in bottle? I know these sensors can get thrown off if replaced before it is told, but these are the original toners.... |

I had a similar thing happen when i setup the 860. everything was at 100% except the cyan. I looked at the toner bottle and it seemed to not be open all the way and was not catching the toner motor. So i opened it up and shook it up and put it back in. I gave it a few turns while i had the developer assembly out of the machine. Put the assembly back in and it solved my problem. I also have had problems where it would say it was out and the same thing was done. Opening the toner cartridge by twisting it not by opening the tab. Just want to make sure i say that. Don't want toner everywhere. |
