Anyone having this problem even after running and leveling? I had to level two machines 3 times to get the belt not to skew. Also is there a better way of getting the belt back to position without taking the whole machine apart?
I have had 1 machine eat a belt because the sensor didnn't even detect the
belt skew. |

Had a machine come in with a bent bracket causing the belt to skew. After repairing bracket, remove fuser assembly, but keep fuser connectors attached. Run belt motor in service mode and relieve pressure on whichever side to move belt back to center. Adjust pressure accordingly in service manual. I have pictures. Is there a way to attach pics to these posts?? |
