Hi there,
I am an owner of an KIP 7170 K. But, I have a big problem and I will give a detailed example to explain it.
While using HDI driver (system k software last version 1.2.58182100 ve firmware K134FX05.00A ) if I add a paper size such as 914 mm * 1500 mm and print from autocad, it cuts the borders of the paper too. So, I cant print a full drawing even if I choose the remove border adjustment. But, this happens only when I print on paper size larger than 914 mm. And also, X and Y origin configurations are not coming out as I set.
This is really a big problem for me since all of my customers are architects, and even though KIP made out a new version of HDI driver, same problem is still continuing. Did anyone came across with the same problem and help me out please? |

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. I am printing from Autocad 2015 and I am using the last HDI version . Also, I have uploaded the last update to KIP 7170K device.
Adter the update, I have used the last HDI driver which I downloaded from the controller. I have also tried downloading from the website, but the result didnt change.
If you are using the last version of HDI driver you will understand what I mean. I am thinking that the problem is because of software or driver. Since, I am trying to solve this problem over a week and still no progression. |

First things first make sure that in the PRINTNET you have the ignore HDI borders on. And then do a test print.Otherwise i would Make sure that when you do an install that you use a clean install and restart. I had a shared server driver that would go nuts if i didn't restart after i installed it. Also make sure everything is from that controller. Because if its not you will have problems. There is a uninstaller in the installer when you use it. Use that uninstaller and then reinstall everything. Its good to do a fresh start. |

914mm is the maximum paper width the printer will accept.
The 7170 will not do full sheet printing, if memory serves I think the KIP has a required 3mm margin. Are you allowing for that in your page set up? |

When adding a printer in autocad isn't there an option to use a system driver or something that makes autocad use the windows driver? I'd be curious to see if your results change by trying that. |

I am using last version of System K. I have following problems with KIP device if anyone could help please???
- I couldnt see 'USE PAPER ECONOMIC' option on the HDI driver.
- When you are printing from Autocad it doesnt detect X and Y settings.
- It doesnt cut the paper as we request when the job is done. |
