I am looking at the above unit. It has a 600 scanner on it and I was told by a tech that it didn't come with that on it?If I upgrade the software to 7.5 will it work?
I also have a Xerox 1200 stacker. Will it work with the 7900? |

The 600 scanner will work on the 7900 but if it did not come with a scanner originally then you will have to buy new key codes from KIP. That could be expensive! The Xerox 1200 stacker is the same as the KIP 1200 stacker but you may have to install the IR communication boards in the printer. |

It copies and scans to file. Will installing the 7.5 change anything? |

That depends on what OS it has now. If it is running XPe now then 7.5 upgrade will bring it to Win 7e. You will need new Key Codes and KIP may want to charge you for the Win 7e upgrade, too. |
