I was downloading new firmware to my KIP 7100 and it got 80% completed and then it failed. It would not allow me to do it again.
So I tried a different USB port and the machine shut off.
Is there any way to recover/flash the DC controller so the machine will boot up correctly?
K-Mart said I need to buy a new DC board since the process was interrupted............
Is this correct? _________________ PPCPete |

I know on the 7170 you can restore the factory firmware in such a situation. I have never tried this on the 7100 though. _________________ "If you mess with a thing long enough, It'll break" |
