| New KIP 860 arrived the other day. Spent several days setting it up between service calls. First real prints came out today. Nice prints and really fast. Not sure about the color quality at this point though. Color seems a little washed out but that is probably my inexperience with xerographic color calibration. Not a terribly difficult setup for one person except for that leveling business. Had to go round and round the machine for a couple of days before it settled down. Our production person is very happy with it and can't wait for me to give it a clean bill of health so she can start using it. All in all I am very happy with the operational quality right out of the box for so sophisticated of a machine. I think our customers will like them too. |
