I'm looking for help regarding a persistent problem with "scanner not found."
Re-cap of what the tech has done so far:
Installed a SystemK 7770/2300 at a customer site in October. A few weeks ago, service call was placed for "scanner not found" (unable to scan/copy). They scan through the touch-screen - no external PC/scan software. The tech has been onsite multiple times, without success: upgraded sw from 1.0 to 1.2, replaced the main scanner PCB, replaced the scanner DDR DIMM, and both the internal USB cable and the external USB cable (scanner to print engine), imaged the HDD, replaced the SystemK controller, and since downgraded to ver 1.1 |
