We just ran a 520 page 24X36 color job on our new 860. We ran it on 24# bond paper because that’s what the customer wanted. It took a little more than 2 hours to print because we had to reload paper 3 times and continually unload the top stacker. It did pause twice to do the self-calibration and cleaning that took a couple of minutes each. The customer was very satisfied with the job. We used the KIP Cost Center to figure our cost and we entered toner and service cost at MSRP. Total cost of service and toner was $173.25. Add the paper cost at $45.00 per roll. Total print job cost of $269.24. This is at about 20% toner coverage. That is less than $0.52 per sheet, that leaves a pretty big profit margin.
