On the Kip 7000 HDP where is the switch located that causes this error, ( U-05). I know it is the MS2A, 2B, MS2C, but I cannot find it on the machine.
Thanks in advance
Alan

Maybe just a coincidence, but when I put the cover on over the manual feed tray, then opened and closed the process unit again the code went away. Is the switch on the right side and is it inside a white plastic box?

There is 3 of them, 2 for the movable process unit. 1 on each side inside the Right & Left Front Covers on the frame where the slide bracket mounts. The 3rd 1 is for the top cover/scanner base. You have to remove the top cover to access it. It is on the left towards the back. They are micro switches, you will see the 2 small mount screws and connector.

Thank You. Will check this out to see if the switches can be adjusted to energize more positively.
Thank You
Alan
