Try reghosting the IPS. The test prints are generated in the printer. _________________ Regards,

Just a thought, close unattend, right click my computer. select manage, disk management and run chkdsk with repair and restart. Could just be a bad sector. _________________ Regards,

When you close the UI, what machine does it indicate on the top of the Unattend sortware. If it doesn't indicate the correct printer, it will do this.
You have two options. You will have to find the file, either named KPrep.exe or KIPPrep.exe or IPSPrep.exe. I think they changed the name depending on what version you have. Launch it and it'll prompt you for what type of machine you have and go from there. KIP says it is located right inside the diagnostics folder on the desktop.
Or
Last time I had this issue, it was on a 3000 but said 5000 in the Unattend KIP queue view. I went into the Unattend.ini and changed it back to 3000 but it did not help. I needed to run the .exe above but for some reason I couldn't find it in the Diagnostics folder or SEARCHing for it, even with KIP's help. I ended up doing a factory restore from the IPS and it fixed it. |

DLee is spot on....the issue is that the Density settings in the winuntd.ini file are not set properly.
They are sending a density value that the printer cannot use and therefore just dump the job.
Running the prep again should do the trick. _________________ **************************************
