| Customer has KIP3000 running latest 7.2.348. According to the KIP Legacy software matrix, they are able to run WPD Ver. 8.159. I sent the customer the 8.159 drivers and after they installed it, when sending a multipage PDF, only the first 2 prints come out and then the job stops and removes itself from the queue. Anyone seen this before? |

You need 7.4 to use that driver. Have them nuke the install and use 8.147. I would include the removal PDF so the new install is clean.

Mark, did you experience issues with using 8.159?
According to Tony J. @ KIP: (He even sent me the Firmware Matrix of all current and legacy printers and their latest acceptable software versions)
KIP3000:
Unattend Version: 7.2.348
KIP WPD: Ver. 8.159
I already told the customer that the 8.159 was the latest (confirmed by KIP), so I don't want to tell him that he needs to backtrack to 8.147. Besides I think I missed that one. For ver. 8, I only have 8.13 and 8.159.
What do you know about 8.13? KIP website (under legacy) only has the 8.159. |

I got the info from one of these KIP forums. I've personally had problems with 8.159 at the casinos when 8.147 loaded and performed correctly. Getting anything to work on their networks is a challenge the way IT has them locked down. Don't have anything on 8.13.
