Has anyone had the pleasure of rebuilding a dev unit in this machine. We have a few in the field, but was wondering more or less on what meterage the dev units need to be rebuilt?

Thank you

Yes of course.
Some of them we must rebuild at about 48.000 linear meter and the best one was at 106.000 linear meter. It depends, what you are printing and what your customer wants for a quality.

Can the Kip80 Dev roll be refreshed/cleaned like a 8000 dev roller?

On the 80, I use to refresh them all the time.
As to rebuilding. I rebuilt the dev units, using the kits ONE TIME. After calculating the labor, the problems I had AFTER doing the rebuilds, I convinced our SM to just replace them, instead of rebuilding them.

I just cleaned the dev roll and quality improved a lot and it's making good prints.
