Customer called.
Scanner takes the sheet and feeds it through.
No image comes up on the screen
Scanner stays on after sheet has exited, the screen then shows "scanner not found", only way to shut the scanner down is to turn off the machine.
I will be going in the morning to check it out. Just wondered if anyone had seen something like this.

Thanks

Sounds like the controller is on the way out. You know, the controller KIP doesn't offer any longer.

Could be the scanner board, not that it's any cheaper....

Try this first:

-check USB connection (try plugging it into another USB plug on controller), could be bad USB plug on controller....

-bring a new USB cable, then unplug the one that is connected from scanner to controller and use new one (in case the cable is bad)

In this case controller=scanner board. I should have made that clear.

What version 3000? A 1050xxxx or 1051xxxx. I have a few scanner boards if you need one depending on what model.
